Modris Greitans has been working in IECS starting from 1990. PhD on non-uniformly sampled signal reconstruction. He has been involved in various projects related to development of novel digital signal processing methods and their applications, including participation in 8 European joint research projects. Author of more than 40 scientific publications and one patent. Co-author of the European IT Prize’97 winner “DASP-Lab System”. Interests on advanced digital signal processing, signal-dependent techniques, signal-driven A/D conversion, processing of non-uniformly sampled signals, time-frequency analysis of non-stationary signals, application of signal processing methods in biometry, WSN, SDR, UWB systems etc.
