M.Sc. Rinalds Ruskuls

Scientific assistant Rinalds Ruskuls has been working in the Institute of Electronics and Computer Sciense since 2008. year. His main research topics are embedded system development based on FPGA and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) – A flexible sensor node prototyping and profiling tool. Technical knowledge – digital and analog system design, PCB design, basic knowledge in ASIC development, DSP. In current project – Multimodal biometric technology for safe and easy person authentication (BiTe) main activities are image processing algorithm optimization for implementation in FPGA.
